1. What is your first name only (NOT last name)
My first name is Margaret. However, I actually use my middle name which is Joy

2. Why are you taking this class and what do you hope to learn?
I am taking this class to fulfill some of my general education requirements. I am taking it because it is offered online and I work full time, have three small children (ages 8,5, and1) at home, and am trying to go to school all at the same time. The onine environment and flexiblilty fits me best. I hope to learn more about other cultures.

3. How far do you live from SRJC main campus

I currently live 20.66 miles from the main campus in Santa Rosa. I work and live in Sonoma.

4. What do you think of when you think "Latin America and the Caribbean"?
I think of taking a vacation! I never thought of Latin America and the Carribean being classified together? I always thought that Latin America would have somenthing to do with Mexico. I would love to go back to the carribean. I remember when I was a very little girl we went to Saint Thomas. I do not remember a whole bunch. However, I do remember it was beautiful and the water was so blue.

5. Have you created a blog or webpage in the past?
No I have not. however, I took a child development class and for our group project one of the girls in my group created a blog. I did post to it but I am not very familiar with this at all so bare with me and I will do my best!
